I love the scene with the hippopotamus: so funny! I think there are much more jokes in Madagascar 2 than in the previous movie. So ready yourself for a good laugh!

Madagascar 2 Second Trailer

Madasgacar 2, aka Madagascar Escape 2 Africa, the upcoming sequel to Dreamworks animated movie, will be officially released in November 2008. Meanwhile, have a look to the latest trailer of Madagascar 2 Escape to Africa:

Madagascar 2 Escape To Africa

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra and Gloria the Hippo plus the penguins band want to go their zoo back to New York. But the plane they patched up crashes land in a crate on the African continent...

What will happen then? No clue yet, but judging from this Madagascar 2 trailer I think Dreamworks will surprise us with a really nice adventure/comedy movie.

Dreamworks does not shy away from jokes that would have been considered not politically correct at Disney. Thank you Dreamworks for opening the way!

Madagascar 2 First Official Trailer

Our friends from Dreamworks movie Madagascar are a back in sequel. This time they want to go back home in New York City, but their plane crashes land in some African savanna.

The first official trailer of Madagascar 2, aka Madagascar Escape 2 Africa, has been released:

This fall
your favorite castaways
are going home!

Escape 2 Africa

I'm glad to see that the penguins are naughtier than ever! And some nice jokes in this animated comedy movie like when the transvestite lemur is facing a deep silence after he said: "I am a lady: which one of you is attracted to me?"
I'm impatient to see a full length trailerof Madagascar 2, with more footage from the adventues of the crazy zoo team in Africa.

I like those naughty penguins: they are adorable! They are the main reason I'll go watch Madagascar 2 I think.

One thing I'm wondering about:

Did Ben Stiller fell in love with the Jungle hence making Tropic Thunder thanks to the Madagascar movie series?

Madagascar 2 Teaser Trailer

Dreamworks has unveiled a teaser trailer for Madagascar: The Crate Escape. The teaser of Madagascar 2 mainly features Ben Stiller but does have some footage of the upcoming animated movie.

You may check the Madagascar 2 teaser here below:

Madgascar 2:
The crate Escape

The plot:
All the animals from the first film get off Madagascar in the downed airplane stuck in the trees from the first movie. They crash in Africa, and Stiller's lion character Alex gets to know his relatives. And like Ben Stiller said:there is a crate and there is an escape!

I wasn't a big fan of the first movie. But it was not that bad so I would still gladly watch this new sequel to Madagascar.

Madagascar 2 First Still

The first official picture of Madagascar 2 has been released:

This picture does confirm what Ben Stiller said about the sequel of Madagascar: the story of Madagascar is likely to take place in Africa.

Indeed, if you look at the first still of Madagascar 2 you will see a savanna landscape that one may finds in Africa.

Madagascar 2 in November 2008

A sequel has been decided so we may expect Madasgascar 2 in November 2008. According to an interview given by Ben Stiller, all the animals from the first film get off Madagascar in the downed airplane stuck in the trees from the first movie. They crash in Africa, and Stiller's lion character Alex gets to know his relatives.

All our friend from the first installement of Madagascar (Alex the Lion, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippopotamus , the Zebra, Maurice the Aye-aye, Mort the Goodman's Mouse Lemur) should be back in this sequel.

I wonder if the second Madagascar movie will try to revive some old hit music song like in the first one with:

Madagascar - I Like To Move It!

Hurrah for Madagascar!
